You can send in your scanner for programming during this time, but nothing will be done before April 16th. Radios will be programmed in order (by postmark). Scanners received prior to March 15th will be returned, programmed, prior to March 25th.
We can help and we can also program your scanner.
Have you ever called for "Customer Service" and were connected to "Customer Hell"?
Let us point you in the "right" direction to get the information you need to program your scanner, or let us program the radio for you.
If you want to be able to program your radio on your own, then we can help
you with that as well. We have the largest amount of frequency resources
on the internet. Yes, the LARGEST.
More than any other website, ANYWHERE. We have frequencies, talk group ID's, radio codes & signals Scancat .RSD files and much more. There are literally millions of
frequencies from across the USA, Canada, UK, Australia and many more.
We can provide you with both a software program to program the scanner by
yourself and two comprehensive databases. The Mr. Scanner Public Safety
allows you to research data to make your own file, or you can open one of the
5,000 pre-made county frequency files and either program your scanner as is or
create your own customized database from the template provided. --

Special Note: Even the new HomePatrol-1 needs programming for your area.
If you recently purchased one of the new HomePatrol Scanners - HP-1, BCD436HP or BCD536HP, you may have thought that programming frequencies by zip code would get you to the frequencies you want to hear. The only problem is that by using zip code, you may get thousands of frequencies, most of which, you are not interested in hearing. You can get frequencies so far outside your area that the scanner could not pick them up in any case, but it needs to take the time to scan through all those channels. That means that the scan speed is slowed down and you may miss the action that is happening just around the corner while listening to a dog catcher 50 miles away. We can solve this problem by programming in just the frequencies for your county. That way you will still have the master frequency list, but you can also limit the amount of frequencies the scanner has to go through, simply by going to the favorites list we make for your county.
