Bearcat SDS100 starts
off with the considerable capabilities of the BCD436HP
with TrunkTracker
X technology, APCO Project 25 phase I and Phase
II, TDMA, Motorola, EDACS, and LTR trunked radio systems. The
SDS100 is the first scanner with true I/Q software defined
radio technology. And it includes easy Zip Code programming
for the USA and Canada. Additional modes such as DMR Tier III,
Hytera XPT, single channel DMR, NXDN 4800/9600 and EDACS
ProVoice will eventually be available by a paid upgrade.
Frequency coverage is 25-512, 758-824, 849-869, 894-960 and
1240-1300 MHz. Enhancements include SAME weather alert,
channel volume offset, multi-site system scanning, free
Sentinel software, lithium ion battery, three contextual
soft-keys that change function based on current operation. It
features a huge color LCD that is user customizable. Not only
